About me

Ricardo Aravena is a Cloud Infrastructure Lead helping automate systems with cloud native technologies at Snowflake. He's an open source enthusiast, co-chair of the CNCF TAG-Runtime, Lead for CNCF Cloud Native AI Working Group and a CNCF Ambassador. He has been working in tech for more than 25 years. He comes from a diverse professional background. He has had different roles at large companies such as Rakuten, Cisco, and VMware and startups such as Truera, Branch Metrics, Coupa, HyTrust, Exablox, and SnapLogic. Most recently, he was at Truera, where he spent two years helping build and support its cloud-native stack and at Rakuten Rewards, he spent three years managing the Kubernetes team to handle millions of web and API requests daily.
