About me

Sebastian Beyvers is a distributed systems researcher in bioinformatics and a cloud-native Rust developer at Giessen University. Sebastian's current work focuses on cloud-native data storage and processing solutions that try to harmonize existing national and international data ecosystems, such as GAIA-X and NFDI. He has been exploring scientific applications of Kubernetes for several years; his master thesis focused on automating Argo workflows for ad hoc large-scale comparative genomics.
