About me

I am a 3rd year PhD student in the LSD lab at UC Santa Cruz. I am broadly interested in distributed systems and the abstractions we use to build them. I focus on cloud-native programming models and the challenges they present to developers, and my current research is focused on Kubernetes controllers. Before graduate school, I was a software engineer at Oscar Health on their compute platform team, where the seeds for my current research were planted.
