Tom McDonald is a Senior Workload Storage Specialist at AWS. Starting with an Atari 400 and re-programming tapes, Tom began a long interest in increasing performance on any storage service. With 20 years of experience in the Upstream Energy domain, file systems and High-Performance Computing, Tom is passionate about failing fast and sharing learnings with others. These days you can find Tom learning the Kubernetes ecosystem and sharing what he's learned.
